Blog Improvement on the Horizon

Hello there. Please check back soon, because I'm in the midst of finally setting up this blog properly so it will be beautiful and organized! I hope all of you had a nice Christmas break. I am still sending out the last of my Christmas cards. And somehow I still expect to get Christmas cards in the mail from others when I go to the mailbox. Does anyone else miss that we don't send real mail to each other as often? We've had lots and lots of snow here and so there is a very wintery feeling in the air. Tree branches covered in thick, glistening snow...very poetic. In loving Christmas so much, there is a painful detachment to go through in putting the Christmas life away for the year. My trick to not feel too badly about putting the bright, happy sentiments away, is to think of January as a fresh start for all the new things I want to have happen. Or better yet, that the upcoming year will be a year of revising! Next time, I'll post some of those expectations for 2009. Really, every year gets better, don't you think so?
